- NEVER use blades with cracks, blades that have fallen on the floor or blades that has been damaged in any way
- NEVER force blades onto the mounting shaft or adjust the mounting hole. If a blade doesn't fit exactly, it has to be replaced with one that does.
- NEVER connect power to the device when the blade is being mounted.
- NEVER run the blade above referenced maximum speed.
- NEVER use dirty or damaged mounting flanges.
- NEVER use a blade that wobbles from side to side, as this may damage the blade and the piece you are working on.
- NEVER use a blade where the diamond crystals are not clearly visible, as this will lead to unnessesary overheating.
- NEVER start the device before the blade guard is in place.
- NEVER stand in front of the machine or in line with the blade when the machine starts.
- NEVER cut without proper safetygear. Use a filtermask where this is demanded.
- NEVER let the blade get jammed.
- ALWAYS be careful when handling and storing the blades.
- ALWAYS inspect blades for damages before mounting. Repeat when re-mounting blades.
- ALWAYS unplug the device when mounting a blade.
- ALWAYS make sure that the mounting flangs has equal and correct diameter, and make sure that the surfaces on theese are properly cleaned.
- ALWAYS make sure the arrow on the blade points the same direction the device rotates.
- ALWAYS make sure the side-to-side-wobble is less than 0,15 mm
- ALWAYS make sure the blade guard is in accordance with the regulations.
- ALWAYS run the device for at least 1 minute at operating speed with the cover in place before cutting after mounting a blade.
- ALWAYS use safetyequipment according to the regulations.
- ALWAYS make sure to have a firm grip when using handheld devices.
- If the blade gets blunt, sharpen it with a sandstone sharpening hone.
We recommend that the safety representative makes sure that everyone that uses diamond blades has taken a course in safe handling and use.
