NEVER DO THIS:

  1. NEVER use blades with cracks, blades that have fallen on the floor or blades that has been damaged in any way
  2. NEVER force blades onto the mounting shaft or adjust the mounting hole. If a blade doesn't fit exactly, it has to be replaced with one that does.
  3. NEVER connect power to the device when the blade is being mounted.
  4. NEVER run the blade above referenced maximum speed.
  5. NEVER use dirty or damaged mounting flanges.
  6. NEVER use a blade that wobbles from side to side, as this may damage the blade and the piece you are working on.
  7. NEVER use a blade where the diamond crystals are not clearly visible, as this will lead to unnessesary overheating.
  8. NEVER start the device before the blade guard is in place.
  9. NEVER stand in front of the machine or in line with the blade when the machine starts.
  10. NEVER cut without proper safetygear. Use a filtermask where this is demanded.
  11. NEVER let the blade get jammed.

ALWAYS DO THIS:

  1. ALWAYS be careful when handling and storing the blades.
  2. ALWAYS inspect blades for damages before mounting. Repeat when re-mounting blades.
  3. ALWAYS unplug the device when mounting a blade.
  4. ALWAYS make sure that the mounting flangs has equal and correct diameter, and make sure that the surfaces on theese are properly cleaned.
  5. ALWAYS make sure the arrow on the blade points the same direction the device rotates.
  6. ALWAYS make sure the side-to-side-wobble is less than 0,15 mm
  7. ALWAYS make sure the blade guard is in accordance with the regulations.
  8. ALWAYS run the device for at least 1 minute at operating speed with the cover in place before cutting after mounting a blade.
  9. ALWAYS use safetyequipment according to the regulations.
  10. ALWAYS make sure to have a firm grip when using handheld devices.
  11. If the blade gets blunt, sharpen it with a sandstone sharpening hone.

We recommend that the safety representative makes sure that everyone that uses diamond blades has taken a course in safe handling and use.
